There are many great pay ware cd and dvd burning programs out there for OS X, however ones that are willing and able to burn DVD video are few and far between. Often video is either an afterthought or requires buying additional plugins. This is not so for a great little application that I just found today, Burn for OS X.
While it appears a little rough around the edges, and the documentation leaves a little bit to be desired, one of the many features include the ability to burn DVD video. It also will convert files over to the required MPEG2 format. I found that it worked wonders for my .mov file encoded with H264 in 720p glory.
